Police responding after gunshots heard in Mississauga

Officers are on scene for reports of gunshots in Mississauga this afternoon (July 11).

Just after 5:00 p.m., the sound of gunshots was heard in the area of Sidmouth St and Pickwick Dr, east of Creditview at Britannia.

Injuries are currently unknown.

UPDATE: Police have confirmed that the “gunshots” heard were actually fireworks. Officers are now clearing the scene.
