Police were called to the scene of a stabbing that took place Saturday night in Brampton.

Police were called to the scene of a stabbing that took place Saturday night in Brampton.

The incident occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Appleton Trail.

There’s no word yet on the victim’s condition or the suspect.

More information to come as officers continue their investigation.

UPDATE: The male victim was transported to the hospital with thankfully non-life threatening injuries.
