Police responded to reports of 400 to 500 people fighting in a Mississauga parking lot.
The fight was allegedly happening in a parking lot at Goreway Drive and Etude Drive in Malton on Monday (Oct. 24) around 9:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police said in a tweet.
Police found one person with injuries, a male victim who was being assessed by Peel Paramedics.
It appeared things had calmed down by 10:30 p.m. but police said they were remaining in the area.
There is no word on what caused the fight.
Update: Around 11 p.m. police said Goreway Drive would be temporarily closed in both directions between Etude Drive and Morning Star Drive to clear vehicles. They ask people to use alternate routes.
