Police respond to male running around, smashing vehicles with hammer in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police responded to the area of Morning Star Drive and Cambrett Drive in Mississauga last night (May 13) after reports of a male damaging vehicles.
Police say the suspect was seen to be wielding a hammer and smashing windows on various vehicles.
The man fled on foot upon police arrival but was apprehended shortly at a nearby park.
He was in possession of an Airsoft gun, initially thought to be a real firearm.
An 18-year-old man remains in police custody.
