Police respond to fire at unoccupied residence in Milton

Halton police responded to a residence in Milton last night (Oct. 17) after receiving reports about a structure fire.

According to Constable Steve Elms, Media Relations Officer for Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), police attended the residence on Mary St. at approximately 10:30 p.m.

According to Elms, the Milton fire department attended the scene and put out the fire.

Elms confirmed that the residence is not currently occupied and that no injuries have been reported.
