Police have reported an attempted robbery tonight.

Police said at 11:41 p.m. that there was a robbery attempt in a residential area near Mississauga Road and Sandalwood Parkway.

There were allegedly males and a female in the group of suspects.

A victim was repotedly assaulted. Police say the victim has sustained minor injuries.

Police cannot confirm if this robbery is related to the previously reported robbery at this time.
