Niagara Police have released a pair of photos of two men they believe might be suspects in the death of a St. Catharines man last August.

On August 26, 2022, Raymond Riley, 31, was attacked and assaulted in the area of Riordon St. and Division St. in St. Catharines.

When they responded to the call, the Niagara EMS whisked him to a local hospital before he was taken to an out-of-town trauma center due to the severity of his injuries.

On September 8, 2022, Riley died in the hospital.

On September 9, Niagara Police appealed to the public, asking residents in the area to check their CCTV and dash cams, hoping to identify the suspects.

The police says they “would like to thank the public for their assistance in this request and have completed their analysis of the CCTV.”

“Investigators are now able to release video clips and photographic stills of the suspects responsible for the assault of Raymond.”

Now that they have the still photos from the video (above and below), police are asking the public for help identifying the suspects to “help bring this horrendous incident to a close.”

Niagara Police also directly appealed to the suspects. “If you are the suspect(s) in the video, please seek legal counsel and make arrangements to turn yourself into police.”

If anyone has any information of the identity of either of these two males or if they have any information to assist in the investigation in any way, contact members of the Homicide Unit directly by calling 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009462 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-TIPS (8477)
