Police raid sees two St. Catharines men, one other charged with illegal drug possession

In an investigation that’s been going on since June, Niagara Police raided a St. Catharines home yesterday (Oct. 10), seizing suspected drugs and possible crime cash and charging three men in the process, two of them from St. Catharines.

Police got a search warrant for a home on Ontario St. near Beech St. and in the end, seized 210 grams of suspected fentanyl and 26 grams of suspected cocaine was seized with a combined street value of $44,600.  In addition, detectives also seized $2,987 believed to have been acquired through the proceeds of crime.

Marcus Makhurance-Chafudzika, 33, of Richmond Hill has been charged with two counts of drug possession for trafficking purposes and one count of holding suspected crime cash.

Peter Langridge, 38, of St. Catharines has been charged with two counts of drug possession for trafficking purposes.

Lee Alan Walters, 48, of St. Catharines has been charged with two counts of drug possession for trafficking purposes.
