Police raid finds $100,000 in drugs leading to arrest of Oshawa man in Mississauga

An man from Oshawa is facing drug trafficking charges after Durham Police executed search warrants in Mississauga and Scarborough following a months long investigation.

The Durham Gun and Gang Unit executed four search warrants at two homes on January 4, one on Mississauga’s Rexwood Road and the other on  Scarborough’s Military Trail, wrapping an investigation they began in the fall.

Police estimate they found roughly $100’000 fentanyl, carfentanil and cocaine.

Amal Greensword, 32 of Oshawa, face three counts of possession for purpose of trafficking, and failure to comply with an undertaking. He will remain in custody until a bail hearing.
