Police on scene for undisclosed investigation in Brampton

Police in Brampton are asking residents to stay away from a stretch of Creditview Rd. in the City’s north end as officers are on scene for an investigation.

Peel Regional Police said officers were called to the area of Creditview Rd. and Remembrance Rd. in Brampton shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning (Feb. 15). A police spokesperson said officers are in the area for a police investigation but did not provide any details on the incident.

No injuries have been reported and police said there is no threat to public safety. Police are asking residents to avoid the area and drivers are asked to find alternate routes if possible.

UPDATE: A police spokesperson says investigators cleared the area shortly before 9:30 a.m. No arrests were made and police thanked the public for their assistance.
