Peel Regional Police are on scene for a stabbing in Mississauga.

According to police, the incident took place at a residence in the area of Dundas Street and Wolfedale Road.

The victim is an adult female and being transported to a trauma centre.

Suspect is in custody and the call was received at 10:39 PM.
