Police on scene for man waving stick in the street in Mississauga

Police are on scene responding to a disturbance in Mississauga.

Peel police say officers are investigating reports of a male in the middle of the road waving a stick.

The male was spotted in the Airport Rd. and Bresler Dr. area.

Police say he was nearly being struck by a vehicle.

Officers are in the area.

A call regarding the incident came in around 2:40 pm.

UPDATE: Police say that officers have located the male and that he will be transported to a hospital to receive crisis support.
