Police on Scene for Garbage Chute Fire in Mississauga

Officers and Mississauga Emergency Services are attending the scene of a fire this evening.
Police received a call at 9:12 p.m. regarding a fire in a garbage chute in the area of Burnhamthorpe Road West and Grand Park Drive.
The fire is currently under control, police report.
Residents are asked to avoid the area for now.
