Police looking for witnesses after downtown St. Catharines assault

Niagara Police are looking for any possible witnesses after two men were assaulted back on May 1 in downtown St. Catharines.

The police responded to a call at 1 am in the St. Paul Street and William Street area and found two men (34 years and 46 years) suffering from nonlife threatening injuries.

They were transported to a local hospital.  Their investigation discovered the victims were assaulted on the street during a large fight.

The police are  currently investigating the assaults and asking any witnesses or individuals with cell phone footage of the incident come forward to assist in identifying the persons responsible.
