Police looking for man who stole a computer from a Burlington electronics store

Halton Regional Police are asking the public to help identify a man who stole a laptop from a Best Buy store in Burlington.

Police say the suspect walked into the Brant Street electronics store on July 2nd at 7:35 p.m. and picked up a demo ASUS laptop valued at $1,300.

He then proceeded to dismantle the security device before slipping the computer into the front of his pants and walking out the store.

The suspect is described a male, white, between the ages of 35 to 45 with black hair. He was approximately six-feet tall, 200 pounds and was sporting a black/gray baseball cap with a black shirt, black jacket and gray pants/shoes.

He was also wearing a medical PPE mask.
