Police look to piece together fatal crash between a motorcycle and tractor in West Lincoln

Niagara Police are trying to reconstruct a fatal accident last night (October 11) that saw a biker die after colliding with a tractor in West Lincoln.

Just past 8:10 pm, police were called to Regional Road 65 between Smithville Road and Caistor Centre Road after a motorcycle and a tractor, both going westbound, hit each other. The biker was quickly taken to the hospital by Niagara EMS where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not released his identity.

The collision has left the Niagara Police Collision Reconstruction Unit trying to figure out how the accident happened.

The police are asking residents with CCTV footage that might capture Regional Road 65 near Caistor Centre Road, as well as motorists who were in the area with an operational dash-camera, to review their footage and contact the lead detective at 905-688-4111, option 3, badge 1009206 with any relevant information.
