Halton police have issued a traffic advisory today (Jan. 27) for the Towns of Milton and Halton Hills.

The District Response Unit tweeted earlier today asking the public that they be aware of possible traffic disruptions along the 401 and Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) corridors.

“Please be patient and drive safely,” advised Halton police.

Additionally, according to police, Guelph Line and the 401 overpass is now shut down for public safety.

Traffic is being diverted onto 5 Sideroad north of 401 or Reid Sideroad south.

Police say Guelph Line at the 401 also has high pedestrian traffic and is advising the public to be alert and prepared for delays.
