Police investigating theft at Canadian Tire in Georgetown

Halton police are investigating a theft that occurred at Canadian Tire in Georgetown.
According to police, on June 14, an unknown suspect attended the store in Georgetown and stole a scanner valued at $1,000.
The suspect is described as a male, in his mid 30’s, approximately 5’7 and 160 lbs.
Police say he was wearing a burgundy long sleeve shirt, camouflage cargo pants, black sneakers and had a black watch on his right wrist and bracelets on his left wrist.
The suspect was also wearing a black hat with a white pattern of one large sun or flower shape surrounded by three smaller stars.
