Police investigating stabbing that occurred in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) is investigating an assault in Brampton. 

At 4:06 p.m. on Wednesday (May 19), PRP was called to the area of Eastbourne Drive and Balmoral Drive in relation to a stabbing. 

The victim, an adult man, is being transported to a trauma centre–the extend of his injuries is still unknown. 

Residents can expect a heavy police presence in the area, as PRP continues to investigate.
