Police investigating reports of shots being fired in Mississauga

Police are responding to reports of shots being fired in Mississauga.

Peel police say shots were reportedly heard in the Creditview Rd and Melia Dr. area.

There’s a high police presence in the area.

A call regarding the incident was received at 10:04 am.

UPDATE:

Police say Melia Dr. and neighbouring streets are shut down west of Creditview.

Residents are asked to avoid the area while officers investigate.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.
