Police Investigating Report of Shots Fired in Mississauga

Police tactical units are on scene for an investigation this evening.

According to Peel Police, a report came in at 10:29 p.m. regarding gunshots fired in the area of Mavis and Burnhamthorpe Road West.

Shell casings were located at the scene, police say,

At this time, no injuries have been reported.

Police remain in the area for investigation. We’ll update with further details.

UPDATE: Until further notice, westbound Central Parkway is closed at Mavis.
