Police investigating potential gunshots in Mississauga

Police are investigating possible gunshots in Mississauga. 

Earlier tonight, police responded to reports of potential gunshots in the area of Brandon Gate Drive and Sigsbee Drive. 

According to reports, two potential gunshots were heard. Police are currently searching the area, but nothing has been confirmed at this time. 

UPDATE: 

Police believe the sound was caused by fireworks not gunshots.
