Police investigating overnight shooting in the City of Hamilton

There is an ongoing investigation following reports of shots being fired early Saturday morning in the City of Hamilton.

On May. 6 2023, The Hamilton Police Service responded to reports of an alleged shooting in the area of Barton St E / Kenilworth Ave in the City of Hamilton.

Police say the incident happened shortly after 1 a.m.

According to police, there are no known victims or injuries sustained at this time.
