Police investigating overnight shooting in Hamilton

Hamilton Police are asking residents to review their security surveillance cameras around the time of a shooting on Sunday (Apr. 10).

At approximately 3:20 a.m., officers responded to reports of the sound of gunshots in the area of Barton St E and East Ave N.

“Upon police arrival no victims were located, however evidence was located confirming a shooting took place,” said police.

Numerous vehicles were reportedly seen fleeing the area.

No suspect description is available at this time.
