Police investigating Mississauga stabbing

Peel Regional Police (PRP) are investigating a stabbing in Mississauga. 

At 5:18 p.m., PRP was called to the area of Battleford Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard in relation to a 40-year-old man who was stabbed. 

The man has been transported to hospital; the severity of his injuries, as well as any information regarding the suspect(s) is not yet available. 

Residents can expect a heavier-than-normal police presence, and drivers are instructed to avoid the area.
