Police Investigating Attempted Carjacking in Brampton

Officers are searching for the suspects of an attempted theft today in Brampton.
Police reported around 5:45 p.m. that a carjacking was attempted in the area of Ray Lawson and McLaughlin Road South.
The suspects indicated that they had a gun, although no weapon was seen, police report.
Both suspects are described as black males wearing dark clothing. One of the suspects is six feet, thin, bald and wearing a black hooded jacket.
The investigation is ongoing. We’ll update with any further info.
UPDATE: Police are additionally investigating an attempted purse snatching in the samea area. The suspects are two black males, possibly armed, who fled the scene in a vehicle. It is currently unknown whether both incidents are connected.
