Police Investigating an Overnight Shooting in Mississauga

The public’s assistance is being requested following a shooting in Mississauga early Saturday.
Around 1:00 a.m., police say a witness heard gunshots outside his residence in the area of Rathburn and Cawthra Road.
The witness investigated and reportedly observed an unknown suspect shooting at a 24 year old Mississauga man.
“The victim contacted police and the suspect fled the area,” police say.
There were no injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information or surveillance/dash cam footage of the incident to contact them at 905-453–2121, ext. 1233.
