Peel police officers are continuing to investigate a collision and stabbing that happened Saturday in Mississauga.

At 9:14 a.m. on May 2, police got a call for a two-vehicle collision at Cawthra Road and Burnhamthorpe Road.

The suspect, driving a silver Honda, reportedly struck the victim’s vehicle and then fled on foot, possibly accessing a bicycle and fleeing the area.

“The victim sustained minor injuries; he remained on scene and was the sole occupant,” police said.

After fleeing the collision, police allege that the suspect entered a nearby residence on Holden Crescent and viciously attacked an elderly couple as well as an elderly neighbour.

The victims were all taken to hospital and treated for their injuries.

No suspect description has been released by police at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.

Witnesses and anyone with information that can assist police are asked to call 905-453–2121, ext. 1233.
