Police investigating after man robbed in Milton parking lot

Halton police are investigating after a man was robbed in a parking lot in Milton.
According to Constable Steve Elms, Media Relations Officer for Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), the incident occurred on Aug. 13 at the Home Depot parking lot on Maple Ave.
Elms said the victim was approached by a group of males before one of them demanded money.
According to Elms, the male was known to the victim and the demand for money was in regards to an alleged debt, which the victim denied.
Elms said the suspect then went into the victim’s vehicle and took keys, a wallet and cell phone before leaving.
No physical injuries were reported and the ivestigation is ongoing to identify and locate the suspect.
