Police Investigating After Injured Woman Located in Mississauga

Officers are investigating an incident this evening.
At 8:36 p.m., police reported that a woman suffering from life-threatening injuries was located in the area of Meadowvale and Meadowpine Boulevard, west of Derry at the 401.
At this time, police believe the victim was involved in a fail to remain collision.
The victim has been taken to a trauma centre and the investigation is ongoing.
UPDATE:
The Major Collision Bureau is attending the scene, police report.

Meadowvale Boulevard is currently closed between Meadowpine and Rapistan Court.
Residents are asked to use alternate routes and avoid the area.
