Police Investigating After Home Invasion in Mississauga

Police are investigating following a home invasion in the Streetsville area in Mississauga.
Peel police said that the incident occurred in the Ellen Street and Arch Road area.
Over the course of the incident, a victim was struck in the face and sustained minor injuries. Police also report that a gun was seen. It also appears that property was taken.
The suspect is described as a 5 foot tall white male carrying two black backpacks. He was last seen wearing blue jeans.
Tactical and K9 units were dispatched to the area.
Police say the incident appears to be isolated.
