Police investigating after gunshots fired at Milton residence

Halton police are investigating after gunshots were fired at a Milton residence over the weekend.

On March 20, 2022, at 11:25 p.m., the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Prosser Circ. and Frank Pl.

Police say an investigation determined that a residence in that area was struck by several bullets.

There were no persons inside the residence at the time of the shooting and no injuries were reported, according to police.

A heavy police presence was deployed to the area, however, no suspects were located.

Police say the suspect(s) possibly fled the scene in an older model, four-door dark-coloured sedan.

No arrests have been made at this time and police believe that the shooting was targeted.

Area residents can expect a continued police presence throughout the day on Monday, Mar. 21, 2022.

Police are appealing to the public for CCTV or dashcam footage from the area of Prosser Circ. and Frank Pl. between 11:15 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the shooting is asked to contact the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext 2416.
