Police investigating after male found dead on Milton golf course

The body of an unindentified male has been discovered at a golf course in Milton.
Halton Regional Police (HRPS) said the body was in the water of Sixteen Mile Creek, located on Royal Ontario Golf Club on Trafalgar Rd. in Milton. It was spotted around 1 p.m. on Thursday (June 9). The HRPS Marine Unit, with the assistance of a Peel police marine unit and Milton firefighters, removed the body.
“Investigators are still working to determine the identity of the person found,” HRPS said in a statement to media released shortly after 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Police on scene at Royal Ontario Golf Club on Trafalgar Rd in Milton.
Body has been discovered in the area.
