Two more people were injured in a shooting in Mississauga. It's the third such incident in four days, resulting in two deaths.

Peel police are investigating an incident in Mississauga where a witness says a man was being forced into the trunk of a vehicle.

At around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, the witness claims to have seen an altercation between “at least two males” trying to force another male into the trunk of a car on Dundas St., near Cedarflen Gate.

The witness looked away, and by the time they looked back, the trunk was closed, and the vehicle was seen driving westbound on Dundas.

Neither the witness nor police can confirm if anyone was actually forced into the trunk or if the male fled the area.

The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured sedan, possibly a Volkswagen Passat.
