Police investigate overnight shooting on Hamilton mountain

Hamilton Police are investigating reports of overnight gunshots on the city’s west mountain.

Shortly before 1 a.m. on Thursday, residents in the area of Upper Paradise Rd. and Stone Church Rd. reported that they heard gunshots.

Police have confirmed a shooting occurred; however, no injuries have been reported.

Officials provided no further details.

Detectives are asking residents to review surveillance video in the area.
