Police investigate after City of Hamilton vehicles found engulfed in flames in Glanbrook

Hamilton Police are investigating after City of Hamilton trucks were found ablaze in the parking lot of the Glanbrook Sports Complex early Thursday morning (Oct. 21).

According to police, emergency crews were called to the arena, at 4300 Binbrook Road in Glanbrook, shortly after 2 a.m. to reports of a fire.

Upon arrival, police found two vehicles “fully engulfed in flames,” HPS told Inthehammer in an email.

Four cars in total were damaged, two of which belonged to the City of Hamiton.

No one was located at the scene when first responders arrived and no injuries have been reported.

Hamilton police said they continue to investigate the incident.
