Police in Milton investigate after man stabbed during robbery at local business

Halton Police in Milton are investigating after a man was stabbed during a robbery at a local business Thursday night (Jan. 27).

In a press release issued Friday, police said they were called to a business at 500 Laurier Ave. just after 7 p.m. to reports of a robbery.

Upon arrival, officers found a man, an employee of the business, suffering from a stab wound sustained during the robbery. The man remains in hospital in stable condition.

In the meantime, the suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival but were located a short time later in Mississauaga.

Police arrested a 46-year-old man and two 14-year-old boys in connection to the investigation.

There are no outstanding suspects, police said in the release.

Investigators are seeking anyone who may have dashcam footage or witness information from around the area of 500 Laurier Avenue just prior to or shortly after 7 pm on Thursday.
