Police identify two people found dead at home in Caledon

Police have identified the two people found dead in a Caledon home on the weekend.

The two people were found after OPP responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Heather Street – north of Hurontario Street and Chareston Sideroad around 8 a.m. on Saturday (March 4).

Police say the two people were inside a home with apparent gunshot wounds. A man and woman were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The two people have been identified as 29-year-old Cassie Antle of Mono and 24-year-old David Evans from Orangeville.

Police believe this is an isolated incident and there are no concerns for public safety.

The Caledon Detachment Major Crime Unit is continuing the investigation under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch, with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Services and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
