Police identify man behind back-to-back Niagara Falls robberies

Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) release the identity of a man wanted for robbing two Niagara Falls gas stations.

This is an update on a current NRPS investigation into back-to-back gas station robberies that occurred in the early hours of the morning on June 29.

Police say the suspect entered both gas stations, armed with a handgun and got an unknown amount of cash and lottery tickets before taking off.

An arrest warrant is being sought for 45-year-old Jeffrey Christopher Swalm of Niagara Falls. Swalm is wanted for the criminal offences of Robbery using firearm (2 Counts), Pointing a firearm (2 Counts), and Disguised with intent (2 Counts).

Swalm is described as a white male, 6ft., 240lbs, with a light complexion, brown/red hair, and blue eyes.

He has a scar on his right cheek and eye and can be identified by multiple tattoos:

  • left upper arm – skull and dragon
  • right forearm – tribal
  • chest – dragon’s head

Police say Swalm should be considered armed and dangerous.  Do not approach or confront him if he is sighted. Immediately call the police.
