Police Hunting for Pharmacy Robbery Suspects in Brampton

Peel police are appealing to the public for help in identifying two suspects allegedly involved in a robbery that took place in Brampton.

Police report that on Wednesday, July 5 at approximately 7:05 p.m., two unknown suspects entered a pharmacy located in the Vodden Street East and Lakeridge Drive area.
The suspects, one armed with a knife and the other a gun, went behind the pharmacy counter and ordered one employee to open the safe and another to open the till.
Police say the suspects stole cash and a quantity of prescription drugs, including fentanyl and other opiates.
None of the employees were injured during the robbery.

The first suspect is a white male, approximately 6’0”- 6’1”, with a slim build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweater, grey or green pants with black patches on the back pockets and white running shoes. His face was covered with a ski mask and he was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is a white male, approximately 5’5”-5’6”, with slim build and a shaved head. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt with “burton” written on it, and black shoes.
His face was covered with a mask and he was armed with a knife.
The second suspect in the robbery is also a suspect in a robbery that occurred Sunday, July 2 at 4:45 p.m. at a pharmacy in the Kennedy Road North and Vodden Street East area.
At the time of that incident, the suspect was wearing a blue t-shirt with “crooks” written on the front, and a black long-sleeved shirt underneath. The suspect brandished a handgun and made away with cash and a quantity of prescription drugs.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses that may have been in the area during the time of either robbery, or who may be able to identify one or both of the suspects, to contact police.
Police are asking residents who locate fentanyl patches, in whole or in part, to avoid touching them. If you see one, please contact police immediately for proper disposal.
