Police hunt man after robbery of downtown St. Catharines bank

Niagara Police are on the hunt for a man who robbed a downtown St. Catharines bank yesterday (November 8) morning.

The police were called to the Bank of Montreal at 31 King St. at 11:15 am on a robbery call.

When they arrived, they learned that a man entered the bank and demanded cash from the teller. He received an undisclosed amount of cash and took off on foot.  No employees or customers inside the bank were hurt.

The suspect is described as follows a white male, 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-5 with a thin build.
