Police Day will focus on building safer communities in Burlington, Oakville, Milton

Helping Build Safer Communities is the theme of this year’s annual Police Day and residents of Milton, Oakville, Burlington and Halton Halls are invited to attend.
The event is being held Saturday, May 13, from noon to 4 p.m. at Halton Region Police Service headquarters, 2485 North Service Rd. W. in Oakville.
Among the highlights of the day will be:
- Tactical rescue and K-9 demonstrations
- Police motorcycle demonstrations
- HRPS Pipes & Drums
- Interactive displays
- Inflatable amusements and games
- Live music
- Barbecue catered by Troy’s Diner
Attendees can learn about policing through a series of interactive displays and presentations at the free event (except for food), which is being held rain or shine.
