Police cracking down on rural speeders in Milton and Halton Hills
A crackdown on speeding on rural roads in Milton and Halton Hills has seen local police impound nearly a dozen vehicles in the last week.
The Milton/Halton Hills division of the Halton police have been chronicling on their Twitter account drivers that are caught doing 30, 40, 50 or even more km-h over the posted speed limit.
Without giving away the specifics of where they’ve been setting enforcement areas, the local detachment has impounded 11 vehicles during the unofficial speed blitz.
Last night was the latest as @HRPSMiltHH posted to Twitter a picture of a vehicle being towed after being pulled over for doing 124 km-h in a 70 zone.
