Police chasing vandals who threw rocks through car windows in St. Catharines

One thing is certain. The vandals had to be close to throw a rock that size through the back window of a car.

Niagara Police are investigating at least one act of vandalism to car windshields in St. Catharines early this morning (April 18) though according to one media outlet, it was two in the same neighbourhood.

The first one is certain. At roughly 3 am, the police were called to a Napier St. home near Lake St. when the owner was woken up after a large rock was thrown through the back windshield of his car.

The two suspects, believed to be men in their early 20s or late teens, were dressed in all black clothing were seen running from the scene.

However, media outlet Niagara 411 reported that they received information that two car windows in the same neighbourhood got windshields smashed. They also reported that video evidence indicated that one of the culprits called the other by the name “Danny.”
