Police ask Oakville residents for help as search continues for missing senior

A search continues for an Oakville senior who went missing Monday evening (June 6).

Yvonne Faith Taylor, 77, has been missing since 8 p.m. last night and is believed to be on foot.

Taylor (pictured below) was last seen in the area of Sixth Line and the Greenery in Oakville.

Halton Regional Police are concerned for her safety and wellbeing and are asking residents in the area to check sheds, garages, or any unlocked shelters on their property for Taylor.

She also could have found shelter in an unlocked car.

Taylor is described as being approximately five-foot-four with red hair. She was wearing a black long sleeve shirt with a hood and possibly grey pants with red stripes down the side.

Anyone with any information that would assist police in locating Taylor is asked to contact police at 905-825-4747, ext. 2210 or via 9-1-1 if you find her.
