Police are investigating a shooting incident in Brampton

Peel Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Brampton early this morning (Feb 25).

At approximately 2:18 a.m., Peel Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Mayfield Road and Van Kirk Drive.

Police say a man has been located with injuries and has been transported to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition.

Officers are on scene and are asking the public to use alternate routes.
