Police are asking residents to keep an eye out for a vehicle following a report of a gun sighting in Mississauga.

Peel police Const. Lori Murphy told inSauga.com that a concerned citizen told police that they allegedly spotted two males who may be armed with a gun.

Police say the suspects were seen in a grey or black Mercedes with a license plate reading CASH668 or CASH688.

They were reportedly spotted in the Queen and Britannia area at 3:30 p.m.

Police are asking people to avoid approaching the men or vehicle and call 911 if they spot them.

UPDATED: Three people are in custody as of 5:30 p.m. and there is no further public safety issue, say police.
