Springtide Music Festival

It’s a busy weekend in Durham Region with music, the arts, flowers and a relay to fight cancer high on the itinerary.

The Springtide Music Festival in Uxbridge is one of the biggest music events in the area, with the festival featuring plenty of acts big and small, such as Dizzy, The Sadies and Terra Lightfoot at various venues around town. Springtide opens today, with some ticketed shows and some free pop-ups, and runs until Sunday.

The Relay For Life is happening Saturday at Bowmanville’s Clarington Central Secondary School, uniting Canadians of all ages to take turns walking around the track to symbolize the perseverance and action needed to change the future of cancer.
