Conservation Halton, which oversees eight parks, mostly in Milton and north Burlington, has several job openings available for the upcoming season.

Among the positions that are available are waterfront lifeguard, camp counsellor, mountain bike instructor, boat rental attendant, food services attendant and equipment operator.

Conservation Halton was created to protect, restore and manage the natural resources in the local watershed, but has grown to become much more.

Today, the organization protects communities and conserves natural environment through planning, education and recreation and supports partners in the creation of sustainable communities within the watershed.

“We are looking to build our team with the kind of inspired, ambitious, and strategic people that are not satisfied with the status quo, are excited by the opportunity in every challenge and are driven by meaningful, measurable results,” said a spokesperson.

“If you are looking to join an environmentally-focused and socially-conscious community organization, then we are looking for you!
