‘Please avoid the area’: Officers on scene for police investigation in St. Catharines

A police investigation is underway this evening (Nov. 14) in St. Catharines.

Niagara police reported at 9:37 p.m. that they’re conducting an investigation in the area of the Glendale Bridge (Glendale Ave and Welland Canals Parkway).

The purpose of the investigation has not been disclosed at this time.

“There is no threat to public safety,” said police.

Residents are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
